Kitty’s Gorge Full Moon Hiking Experience

Ignite your senses by experiencing the magic of Kitty’s Gorge during sunset, dusk then by the light of the full moon!


There is something very mysterious about a full moon and when combined with a hike along Perth’s best hiking trail, Kitty’s Gorge you have yourself an unforgettable twilight hiking experience. As the sun goes down you will witness the Serpentine Valley transition from an outstandingly scenic wonderland of things to see to a utopia of sounds and scents.


Join Off The Beaten Track WA as we guide you along the Kitty’s Gorge Trail for 10kms. We will follow the very scenic Gooralong Brook, past cascades and granite outcrops, through pine plantations and lush jarrah forest to the famous Kitty’s Waterfall. After a short break to admire the light and shadows on the surrounding hills of the valley and a bite to eat, we will enjoy a hike by torchlight back to the start of the trail.


Start Point: Meet on Atkins St, Jarrahdale (across from Cemetery) by 4:45pm for a 5:oopm start!


Time: 5pm – 8:30pm


Price: $40


Includes: Guided 10km hike, nutritious gourmet antipasto platter, complimentary use of hiking poles, sunscreen, repellent & access to all hike photographs.


What to Bring? Camera, 2 ltrs water, head torch with spare batteries, personal first aid, a good attitude and big smile!


COVID-19 Measures: This hike is limited to 10 hikers until deemed safe to increase numbers to a maximum of 20. We encourage all hikers to keep a distance of 1.5m away from others and utilise the hand sanitizer available whilst on our hikes. If you are unwell, please stay at home, and we’ll do the same. If the sharing of food is still not deemed safe by this event start date, trail snacks will be provide as an alternative to gourmet morning tea.


Off The Beaten Track WA provide a trained and experienced Lead Guide and Tail Ender for our hikes. We carry two-way communication devices, a personal location beacon when phone signal is not available and we’re a fully licensed, insured and accredited Western Australian tourism business provide hiking and adventure experiences with a twist!
