About this Event
This skills course is for (men and women) intermediate mountain bike riders already with a good fitness base (able to ride for 30-60 minutes currently) looking to increase their technical riding skills. The Course will be held over 4 x 2 hour sessions at Underwood Park (1 session on the flat grass) and Daisy Hill Forest (3 sessions on the trails).
The skills reviewed on this course will include cornering, braking, berms, pumping, crossing an obstacle, line selection and rock gardens. We have seen too many adult riders getting hurt and now its time to do something about it!
The first session will start on a flat grassy oval and when all are ready, we will progress to the trails (generally after the first session)
The Session dates and times are below:
- Februray 7th (Saturday) 3:00pm - 5:00pm Underwood Park Mtb Skills Park
- Februray 14th (Sunday) 3:00pm - 5:00pm Daisy Hill Forest North
- Februray 21st (Saturday) 3:00pm - 5:00pm Daisy Hill Forest North
- Februray 28th (Sunday) 3:00pm - 5:00pm Ford Road Trail entry.
Emails will be sent out in the lead up to each session with further details of where including a map.
If sold out a wait list will be available in the case that a registration becomes available from a participant cancelling or if sufficient numbers on the wait list we will create an additional session. Wait list registrants will be advised and given first option in order of registration to accept. If sold out see other events on Eventbrite by searching on Mountain Bike Coaching Brisbane events.
Event numbers are limited so we encourage you to sign up early to avoid missing out.
