A small group medical conference in Sal Salis Resort, an ecoresort on the Ningaloo coastline. Conference will be an interspecialty meeting with attendees given the opportunity to contribute to the schedule a topic of their choice.
Tents sleep up to 3, maximum. Children over 1 will be an additional cost- please contact me prior to booking.
If you are travelling alone and wish to share a tent, let me know and I will help you find a buddy!
Selecting registration is a commitment to pay via bank deposit, once we have 15 confirmed tents. Until we hit 15 deposits, all money paid is fully refundable. After that point, as we are booking the whole resort, we will be unable to refund cancellations. We can easily transfer the tent, however, so if you find a replacement they can substitute for you, and I am happy to assist with this on my various groups. In the case of a Covid19 issue, the resort will allow date rebookings, either as a group or individually.
As a small group inter-specialty conference it is hoped that each tent would be happy to contribute a 1 hour presentation to the schedule. This is not mandatory, however. Talks are aimed to be something of interest to other specialities, with urban, rural and remote practitioners attending.
The rate is likely to be around $8500 per tent, which fits 2 people (and potentially 1 child), and will include all meals and accommodation for 2 in the single registration cost. The rate may potentially vary by a slight amount as 2022 pricing is yet to be released. The rate does not include transfers nor excursions (see https://www.salsalis.com.au/accommodation/rates-2021-season/)
We can probably accommodate up to 5 children, and only 1 per tent. Please let me know if you want one of these spots as it will be first come- first served. They are likely to cost and extra $1500 for the 4 nights, with all meals included.
The rates include (from their site)- all meals prepared by an onsite chef and an assortment of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks from a select open bar. The use of non-motorised water sports equipment including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, snorkelling equipment, and wetsuits. Daily guided activities such as walks in Cape Range National Park, reef snorkelling tours, kayaking excursions.
